As the monsoon season settles over Yangon, the relentless rain brings both cooling relief and significant challenges. While many seek shelter indoors, there is a dedicated group of individuals who remain on the frontlines: our environmental and municipal workers.
Throughout this rainy season, the “We Care, We Share” initiative by HAGL Myanmar has been committed to supporting those who work diligently to keep our environment clean and our drainage systems flowing, regardless of the weather.

Protection and Nutrition for the Hardworking
On June 28th, our team went out to meet the men and women who spend their days sweeping the streets and clearing debris to manage water flow and prevent flooding. To express our deep gratitude for their hard work and perseverance, we provided essential items to help them stay dry and energized:
• Raincoats: High-quality gear to offer protection from the heavy monsoon downpours.
• Instant Noodles: Quick, warm meals for a much-needed break during long shifts.
• Fresh Eggs: A vital source of protein to support their physical health and stamina.
The Heart of Our Mission
The “We Care, We Share” team experienced endless satisfaction seeing the bright smiles on the faces of these workers. Often working behind the scenes, these individuals are the unsung heroes who ensure our city remains functional and clean during the most difficult weather conditions.
“Our team is overjoyed to be able to give back to those who give so much of their physical effort to our community. It is a noble effort that reminds us of the power of appreciation.”
A Wish for Peace
At HAGL Myanmar, every act of sharing is rooted in a wish for the well-being of our neighbors. As a result of this goodness, we hope that any pain or suffering these workers face is eased, and that they feel the warmth of a community that truly values their contribution.
We remain dedicated to our environmental guardians and will continue to share our resources to build a better, more caring Myanmar.
